Professional Manuscript Evaluation
Your friends may say your manuscript is good; even your family might say it’s the best thing they’ve ever read. But how will it realistically fare out there in the literary world? The answer is no one knows, but you’ll have a better idea with a professional manuscript evaluation
Email your manuscript to us and here’s what we’ll do for you: we will provide preliminaryevaluations of both fiction and nonfiction book-length manuscripts for $500, which covers 50 to 200 double-spaced pages. The fee is $600 for manuscripts over 200 double-spaced pages. If the manuscript is over 300 double-spaced pages, we’ll provide you with a price.
We’ll read your manuscript from start to finish and then provide you with a written summary ofits strengths and weaknesses. This can run anywhere between 2-10 pages. Not only that, we’ll also give you an honest opinion in regards to the likelihood that a literary agent or publisher would read it. Sometimes, they won’t read past the first five pages if it doesn’t interest them. We want to make sure it grabs their attention!
If necessary, we will offer you pointers to help improve your manuscript so that you have a better chance of having your book picked up by someone in the industry. And if the book needs bookdoctoring (restructuring, more development of plots, characters, and rewrites), or professional editing, we can do that for you too. We can provide a quote for you on that.
For the relatively small fee of a professional manuscript evaluation, it could save you time, money, and heartache of trying to push a book that’s not yet ready for publication.
Please note that a manuscript evaluation is not a not an editing job. But we will provide you with a realistic level of where your manuscript is overall. It’s the starting point you need if you’re serious about approaching a literary agent or publisher.
Ghostwriting Books, Brief, Books, and Book Development
Ghostwriting and book development is the bread and butter of our work. Over the last 20 years, it’s won us bestseller spots, accolades, and millions (!?!) of book sales. Yours could be one of them.
If you’ve had an idea for a book, but have never known where to even start, you’ve come to the right place. It could be a novel, a memoir, a biography, a Brief Book (which is a small book of 30,000 words or less) or even a business book that you’ve been thinking about. That’s O.K. We are here for you. You’re in good hands now.
As Ghostwriters, we’ll take the idea that you have, and effectively write the book for you. We’ll write it in your voice and tone. If you have a manuscript that needs developing, we can do that too, whatever stage it’s at. And here’s the best bit. Our names won’t appear on the front cover. In fact, they won’t appear anywhere. It’ll be yours. As Ghosts, we just disappear back into nothingness, leaving you to take all the glory and the royalties (if that’s what you want). After all, the copyright belongs to you!
Of course, we’ll collaborate with you. We value your input and guidance along the way. It’s your book after all. Not only that, we can also help you find the best literary agent or publisher to submit your book to. If it’s nonfiction, a book proposal is also required and we can prepare that for you along with a synopsis of the book, sample chapters, an outline, branding platform, marketing plan, marketing analyses, query letter, and more. We’ve won six-figure advances for our clients from major publishers. Why not you?
One more thing – discretion is a value we hold very dear. All of our work is highly confidential so you’ll never have to worry about us blabbing that we’ve written your book.
The sample books that you can find here on our website have been kindly approved for us to showcase by their authors. If you don’t want us to reference your book at all, that’s perfectly fine. We understand. We are Ghosts, after all.
Bud’s friends are waiting for him to watch a movie at the theater, once you’ve made your decision! Popcorn’s ready! We’ll probably need a booster seat for Buds.
