But there’s a reason it stays on most people’s lists and it’s because it’s not that straight forward, is it? You’re not sure where to start. You’re not feeling particularly confident. And that’s perfectly normal. After all, when was the last time you wrote a book?
Do you want some good news? We are Donna and Patric. And we know what that feels like. We know because we’ve been there. We’ve been in that position. In fact, we’ve found ourselves staring at more blank screens than you’ve probably had hot meals.

But that was a long time ago. Since then, between us we’ve written #1 NY Times bestsellers, Amazon bestsellers, picked up national awards, and helped scores of people like you achieve their writing dreams.
And the other bit of good news is that we’re here to help you make YOUR book dream come true. Yep – we can help you tick off one of the things off your bucket list. You’ve come to exactly the right place.
“But how, Patric and Donna?” you might be asking. “How can you do that?” O.K. Here’s how it all works. We’ve kept the process nice and simple so that it can be an enjoyable experience and journey for you.
The first thing we can do is have a chat with you about your book idea. It’s a call where we get to discover more about you and your ideas. We’ve called it (wait for it) … a Discovery Call.
Discovery Call
We’ll set up a telephone, Zoom, or video conference call for one of both of us, depending on who you want to work with. This is where we find out exactly what you want – and where you find out if we’re the right people for you. We can talk about how you envision your book – its plot and subplots, its characters, its twists, and surprises, and what you want to do with your books, and where you’d like to be as an author.
In return, we’ll explain exactly what we can do for you and how we can do it.
The best bit about this part is that the Discovery Call is free! We can chat for as long as you need and if you decide we’re not for you, well…you’ve made some new friends at least.
Contracts
If we’re all happy with the work we can provide and the price that we’ve agreed on, we’ll draw up a contract so that you know what to expect. The contract will include details of what you’re going to get, a timeframe, a payment schedule, and lots of other bits that are designed to protect us all. Once the contracts are signed, you can make an initial payment to secure our services and to get the dream started.
Payments
We don’t pretend to be the cheapest and that’s for a very good reason – between us, we’ve got over 40 years of chart-topping, award-winning experience that we’re happy to bring to your book.
An initial payment is agreed and paid for us to start the project. You can pay the agreed amount up front, but we understand that finances aren’t straightforward. That’s why we can create a payment plan if necessary. We’ll explain how all of that works on our Discovery Call.
