#1 New York Times Bestselling Ghostwriter
Hello! I am a #1 New York Times Bestselling Ghostwriter, and I’m here to help you with your writing!
The process of “Becoming” a Ghostwriter began early. At age 6, after reading a particularly fascinating book about butterflies one day, I decided that I was going to be a writer. That it would be the very best and most fun thing I could do in life. I started creating stories, small graphic novels, and even greeting cards, and never
stopped.
I grew up on a sprawling dairy farm in Kentucky and spent many days escaping my siblings by crafting stories on the banks of a little pond in the woods. I swear that Fairies played and danced around that little pond while the cows stood by chewing cud and watching with big round moo eyes.” The Fairies’ story will become a novel or novella, maybe even a BriefBook someday.
After starting my professional writing career as a first grader in elementary school, I published my first short story in a newspaper at age 11. This inspired me to continue in my writing endeavors and later while at university, to combine these with video production, writing, producing, and directing television shows, and business communications.
Throughout my life, I have always believed that I could help people manifest their writing dreams, no matter what it was they wanted to write. I also have always tried to utilize a Heart & Soul approach to my writing and everyday experiences. I believe that the reason some books sell, and others don’t is because the successful ones appear to the “heart” and speak to the reader on a very personal level, whether fiction or nonfiction. And it doesn’t matter if one is inspired by fairies in the woods, or simply by a message they want to tell the world, a good book has “heart.” That’s my secret to making your book a New York Times bestseller.
I have ghostwritten, developed, book-doctored and edited more than 100 books in the past 15-20 years. And yes, there are several that are New York Times and International Bestsellers. Not only do I write for clients worldwide, but I have freelanced as a contributing editor for the Wall Street Journal and a managing editor for mainstream women’s magazines. In addition, I have written medical podcasts, travel articles and books, e-zines, website copy, brochures, newsletters, television and radio commercials, documentaries, screenplays and more.
I am a voracious reader of all types of books, which I think is important if you’re a Ghostwriter, and especially if you write different genres, which I do, in both fiction and nonfiction. I love utilizing literary and/or experimental writing in both fiction and nonfiction, which pushes the language further than usual. My genres include Memoirs, Entertainment Biographies, Sports Biographies, Historical Fiction, Fantasy, SY-FY, Dystopian, YA, Tweens, Magical Realism, Time Travel, International Geopolitical Thrillers, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Futuristic Mystery Thrillers, Paranormal, Alchemy, Neuroscience, Metaphysical, Thought Leadership, Personal Transformation, Business Culture, and Fables (think The Alchemist), etc. I love incorporating romance in the stories in some way if possible, and I love writing about the “Hero’sJourney” in all genres and cultures. I convert film scripts and graphic novels into full length novels, too.
I work with leading Literary Agents and Publishers in New York, which is beneficial when it comes to finding the right agent and publisher for you. I am a world traveler and have clients all over the world. I’m based in Nashville, Tennessee and view myself as a “Citizen of the World.” We’re all more alike on this planet than we are different, no matter where wecome from, or who we are. Famous or invisible. Rich or poor. I try to go back to Kentucky as often as my schedule allows to visit my little pond in the woods, where the cows and fairies are waiting.
I work with a Ghostwriting Partner, Patric Morgan in Wales. We have formed a global initiative to help people all over the world with their writing. You can contact me or Patric, or both, for help. If you would like to discuss your writing project
with me specifically and learn how I can help you, please email me at Donna@TwoGhostwritersandaDog.com or dpeerce@comcast.net. Or call me at my office, 615-279-8144. We can then set up a time to discuss your needs on the phone or during a Zoom call.
My Ghostwriting career combines the creativity that I love with the pathway to find the “Gold” in life, through the written word. I imagine everyone experiences this at times when they are doing something they love no matter what it is.
I can guarantee you that this will be an exciting adventure. We will laugh with each other. Maybe cry with each other. Maybe dance with each other. Maybe visit with the Fairies. No matter if your book is fiction or nonfiction, this experience will change you.
I look forward to speaking with you, getting to know you, and ghostwriting your book!
